Today I am flying Bangkok Airways from Koh Samui to Bangkok on Airbus A320 business class. The airport is small (well, Koh Samui is an island). There aren’t many passengers by noon time. Today I am flying from Bangkok to San Francisco with a stopover at Taipei with China Airlines in Business class. China Airlines is the major Taiwanese airline based in Taipei. Today I am flying to Los Angeles with Southwest Airlines; then will rent a car at the airport and drive to Indio, California to attend the music and art festival at Coachella. I parked the car at SFO Long-term parking garage, and conveniently took Airtrain from the garage to Terminal 1 (the Harvey Milk Terminal) where Southewest Airlines is located. Today I am flying from Frankfurt to Singapore with Lufthansa Airlines Boeing 747-8 in business. Our flight will at 11:55pm. The check-in counters are open thorough the day at Frankfurt airport because Frankfurt is the home of Lufthansa Airlines. Today, I am flying from New York to Frankfurt with Singapore Airlines A380 business class. This is right before Christmas in December 2022. The COVID-19 pandemic is not over. Jeferson F. Staying at TWA Airport Hotel in New York
Today I am trying out the TWA Hotel in New York City. This is an airport hotel right next to John F. Kennedy International Airport. It’s about 7-minute walk from Terminal 5. The hotel was opened in May 2019. Inside, the hotel is decorated with TWA themes. Hotel lobby: Walkway to hotel rooms: The room is not spacious – there’s a spot to fit one luggage; if you get a second luggage, there is nowhere to place. I have to put it under the table. Today we are flying from San Francisco to New York JFK Airport with Alaska Airlines business class. Alaska Airlines is located in terminal 3 at SFO. We did online check-in earlier so just needed to drop off the luggage at the counter. It is pretty empty. After the security point, the Alaska lounge is right on the left side. A tour at the lounge.
