Today, March 2022, I am flying American Airlines in Economy (Main Cabin Extra) class, from Las Vegas to Miami.
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is a very large airport in Las Vegas. It handled about 40 million passengers in 2021.
The airport is packed with people. Masking is required inside the airport and during the flight.
At booking, the mentioned aircraft was a new 737-MAX. At the boarding gate, I just get to know out that there is a change – it is a 12-years old 737. I had wanted to try the 737-MAX. In any case, here is the bird bringing us there to Miami.
Our flight is scheduled to leave at 12:28pm. It’s a full flight and boarding is quick and easy.
The other thing to mention is, we purchased the Economy Main Extra, which comes with some perks like seat with extra leg room, free check-in baggage, priority boarding, complimentary inflight snacks and drinks. I expected extra leg room for this 4+ hours flight but is disappointed at seats. Perhaps only the 737-MAX’s have seats with extra leg room.
Here is the take-off video:
About half way, snacks and drinks are distributed:
Very nice view of the plane above the cloud!
And finally, at sunset, landing at Miami Internal Airport.
