Today I am flying from Bangkok to San Francisco with a stopover at Taipei with China Airlines in Business class. China Airlines is the major Taiwanese airline based in Taipei.
Starting at Bangkok International Airport. The counters are not yet open.
After check-in, I am checking out the observation desk. It’s before the security checkpoint. Very grand view of the airport hallway and runways.
After that, checking out the China Airlines lounge. Although the lounge is small, I am very impressed with the food and service there. The food is very delicious.
One of the service crew member introduces me that chilly thing, which is a sweat, and it’s very delicious. Not so sweet and don’t know what’s outside as the skin, but inside is green bean.
It’s time to head to the boarding gate. Spotting several airplanes. The airport is very huge.
And here is the plane taking us from Bangkog to Taipei – the wide body Airbus 330.
And my seat is here. It’s not a lie-flat seat.

And the food and drink. Dinner is served, and only 1 meal for this 4+ hour flight.
After 4+ hours, before I know it, we have landed in Taipei International Airport. Here is our next flight from Taipei to San Francisco. This is going to be the Boeing 777-300ER.
The aircraft environment has a cozy feeling. A lot of wall are with bamboo wood.
Mine is a bulkhead seat.
For welcome drink, I order a glass of juice.

Dinner time. For appetizer, there’s an abalone.
At mid-flight, there is a bad turbulent. All liquid spilled. Luckly for me, it’s just water.
About 2 hours to destination, breakfast is served:
And by 6:30pm local time, we land smoothly at San Francisco International Airport. Overall, it was a good flight with good food and service.
