Bamboo Airways to Bangkok in Business Class

Bamboo Airways is a Vietnamese airline serving domestic routes as well as several international destinations.  Today I am flying from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok and will try out their business class product.

At the departure hall.

It’s still early so waiting for check-in counter to open.

After check-in, we are heading to the Le Saigonnais lounge which is shared with many other airlines.

There are plenty of food to choose, from Vietnamese to international.

This pork noodle soup very delicious.

The lounge has huge glass windows with airport runway view.

It’s time to head to the boarding gate.  The gates are still not open.

Here is the A321 aircraft bringing us to Bangkok, Thailand.

Wet towels and welcome drinks are distributed.

The seating areas.  The 3 front-row seats are business class; the remaining is economy class.

The legroom is not very roomy.

When the front seat reclines, there’s not much room left, and it becomes uncomfortable to seat in.

I ordered portridge for lunch.  It is very tasty.

Before landing, wet towels are distributed.

After about 1 hour and 10 minutes, we are landing at Bangkok International Airport.

Overall, the flight was okay.  Food and service are good.  The only complaint is the narrow seats even for business class.  It’s really like an economy seat.  For short haul flight, this may be fine.
