Today, I am flying to multiple countries with Korea Air in Prestige class.
San Francisco to Incheon
The trip begins in San Francisco. The first destination is South Korea Incheon International Airport (ICN). The Korean Air business class is named Prestige class. Korean Air’s KAL Lounge is located downstairs at terminal G at San Francisco Internal Airport (SFO). The lounge is small, though the windows have good views of some aircrafts.
And here is the bird bringing us to the destination, the Boeing 747-8, which is a variant of the 747 family.
The Prestige class is a lie-flat seat; its leg room in this aircraft is very roomy compared to other airlines business class seat. Once the seat is set to flat, it becomes a full bed, long and wide, and is very comfortable to sleep on.
The full-course meal:
Incheon to Hong Kong
There is a 3-hour stopover in Incheon International Airport. Then from here, we are heading to Hong Kong with another Boeing 747-8 aircraft.
Here is the video capturing the departure moments.
The flight time is about 2.5 hours. One meal is served.
Hong Kong to Incheon
Business class passengers can use the SkyTeam Lounge at Hong Kong airport.
The Boeing 777-200 will bring us to South Korea.
Arriving at Incheon International airport.
Incheon to San Francisco
The Boeing 747-8 aircraft brings us home.
Conclusion
It was a nice, multi-countries trip. I enjoyed the flights. The one thing that impresses me the most is the lie-flat seat on Korean Airlines Boeing 747-8 – very roomy and comfortable!
