In reply to Susan Davis. Hi Susan! Unfortunately this is something that doesn't typically make sense for me to include and I do not test each recipe halved. In general, most recipes that are halved will have similar, but slightly shorter cook times.

I am always looking for recipes that I can use with my very small 1-1/2 quart slow cooker. I live in my RV and don’t have much room for cooking. But I do want real food just like you make and I am usually not interested in freezing leftovers. If any of your recipes can be halved, can you indicate early on in the recipe? Yes, I can halve a recipe, but I am not so sure I can change the cooking time for it. Thanks

Ah-ha! I saw the brand of The Little Potato Company in one of your screenshots above and knew they were sold in Canada. Checked your bio and I was right – you’re Canadian. I found you out by your potatoes lol (PS. I’m Canadian too, that’s how i recognized the potato brand so I guess I’m found out by potatoes too!)

Made this on a cool day a couple weeks ago. My husband came in from outside and was loving the smell. This has a burst of great flavor. Going to make it for my mother and aunt tomorrow for an early evening meal. I feel sure they will enjoy it as much as we do. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Made it tonight with leftover rotisserie chicken. I was very good. I added 1/2 cream at the end and sprinkled some cheese on top. It was delicious! Definitely a keeper.
